The new exhibition "Here is the realm of silence...- the Blok's favourite places" is opened in the Blok's museum-apartment ( Dekabristov str.,57). The exposition is dedicated to the 132 anniversary since the birth of Alexander Blok the famous Russian poet.
The numerous photos and postcards of the beginning of the XX century from funds of the State museum of history of St. Petersburg are presented , the favourite places of country walks and friendly meetings of the poet in suburbs of Petersburg: Shuvalovo, Ozerki, Lahta, Olgino, Strelna, Kolomyagi, Terioki, etc.
You will be able to observe the Alexander Blok's verses, fragments of letters, diaries and notebooks along with other exhibits that will allow you to recreate an image of St. Petersburg's suburbs with the history of these places at the beginning of the XX century.
The majority of the postcards are exposed for the first time.
